This was my first time caving vs just walking on a guided path through a cave. Highly recommend doing the longer 6 hour tour. You get to do the rappel and a lot more squeezes vs the shorter tour. It sounds like a lot of time but it seemed to fly by. Brent was an awesome tour guide! He was super knowledgeable and has lots of experience with cave exploration, rescue, and climbing. In many areas you can choose your own adventure, or just sit it out, in terms of the level of difficulty. Having that great guide gives you a level of comfort to try the harder squeezes that you wouldn't have alone. I love hiking but this was the best part of my week long Canmore/Banff trip!

My partner and I did the Adventurer tour in August, and had a great time. Our guide, Adam, was absolutely stellar - very knowledgeable about the cave, and gave a real sense of care and safety, especially on technical parts such as the rappel. This really is an adventure, so be prepared for tight spaces, rocky terrain and some smooth polished rock slopes that may be best navigated sitting down. But it's a ton of fun, and a chance to see the Rockies from a very different perspective (and you may even see Chewy!).

Great adventure tour! Our guide John was knowledgeable and a good guy to hang out with for 6 hours. Well worth the price. Highly recommend!

Wow! I had family visiting and we decided to book a tour of Rats Nest Cave with Canmore Cave Tours, it certainly did not disappoint! Our guide Annie was fun, knowledgeable and we always felt safe with her leading us. The tour was exciting and intriguing at every turn, I would totally book again!

Truly amazing and unique experience! Definitely requires some courage (and fitness) to traverse some of the more treacherous parts of the cave, but my partner and I are so happy we went on this tour! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an adventure and challenge - we are still talking about it. Our tour guides were knowledgeable and fun!

Fantastic tour, amazing staff. Cave was awesome, hike was broken up by small breaks with interesting facts and knowledge about local plants and even saw some fossils on the way up. Thank you to all of the staff at Canmore cave tours!
