Today we had the pleasure of participating in a 4-person expedition to the rat’s caves with the wonderful Jaimie. She is a brilliant guide, her knowledge about the cave and the surroundings is enormous, but you can also talk about other interesting topics. The trip itself was one of the best experiences of my life. It was very safe and at the same time there was a light atmosphere. The formations that can be seen underground are indescribable! If you want to experience caving for the first time, or the next time, highly recommend Canmore Cave Tours. The guides are great and well adept at handling any eligible age participant (think Scout troop) and were full of knowledge of the cave and of caving. My 11 year old son loved it and wants to do it again.

I was extremely nervous to do this, I am scared of small spaces and the idea of underground. Within 10 minutes of being inside the cave I was having such a great time and even wanted to do the optional smaller crawls. Go even if you're scared, you might just love it! John was an amazing guide, the walk to the cave was beautiful. Lots of fun science. The best part was I felt like a kid again crawling and exploring! This is a must do!!
