Harness for the Adventure tour
You will not carry anything (i.e. backpack) into the cave as your hands must be free at all times.
What to wear and bring
You will not get wet in the cave.
Footwear
Clients must wear appropriate footwear – hiking boots are best or running shoes with good tread. The foot must be completely covered for protection.
NO sandals, NO open toes, NO skateboard shoes, NO flat soled shoes.
Clothing
Wear warm comfortable clothing, layers are best:
- Long bottoms – sweat pants; hiking pants; stretchy jeans; long johns or thermal underwear for extra warmth
- Long sleeved shirt plus sweater/fleece/hoodie over top
- Suitable outdoor clothing is required for all seasons; Please be prepared for the weather – summer or winter.
Food & Drinks
Bring along some small wrapped snacks (soft snack bars, fruit leather) and bottled water, (in winter, a thermosĀ of tea/hot chocolate).
Camera
Small digital cameras work very well in the cave but must be protected from the dust inside; camera cases are best and can be worn around the neck. Disposable cameras with a flash are also suitable.
Medications
Bring extra if needed.
- We reserve the right to refuse anyone admittance to the cave if they are not suitably dressed or their footwear is inappropriate.
- We assume no responsibility for loss or damage to any personal clothing or equipment (cameras included).
