Driving Directions to the Meeting Place
We meet our clients at 129 Bow Meadows Crescent in Canmore. There is parking in front of the office or on the street – larger vehicles are best parked on the street. At the office we have a selection of cave-friendly energy snacks and drinks at a nominal cost; washrooms; t-shirts, and other merchandise; plus the cave book – Rats Nest Cave. You will meet your guide here, sign the waiver and then follow the guide in your car to the cave only 5 minutes away.
From Calgary: Distance is 120 km. Allow 1.5 hours travel time.
Drive west (towards Banff) on Highway 1 (Trans Canada Hwy) from Calgary and take exit 91 - Canmore 1A then follow Bow Valley Trail (1A) east towards the Town of Exshaw. Turn left onto Elk Run Boulevard (RCMP station) and then take your second right onto Bow Meadows Crescent. Look for a 2 story building with a green roof on your left. You have arrived at 129 Bow Meadows Crescent where your caving adventure begins!
From Banff: Distance is 22 km. Allow 30 minutes travel time.
